Interpretation of the original 3-D seismic survey, using results from drilling the NDP Well #36 directional/horizontal well, has continued which has resulted in a more complete characterization of the Brushy Canyon reservoir. To further characterize the reservoir, a new seismic survey was designed and acquired for the north end of the NDP. This new survey overlaps the original survey in an attempt to determine undrained areas that are not pressure depleted. Results of the second generation 3-D seismic survey has yielded a drilling target in the NE/4 of Section 12. In March 2005, drilling started on the next deviated/horizontal well (NDP Well #34). Lessons learned from the first two deviated/horizontal wells will be used to optimize production from this new well.
